Our heart sunk on the fifth day of his first grade when his class teacher remarked on identifying the traits of LD and ADHD. It shook our consciousness as we didn't know what to do and whom to approach. Our search ended in Nirmala of Sunrise hospital, a therapist in the Developmental Paediatrics Department. Her passionate and continuous efforts helped in developing 90% of his abilities and also in identifying his talents. She was a guardian and a teacher to our son. Her confidence in making a difference in our child and the tactics she applied in building up developmental changes is very appreciable. There are so many children around us who suffer from learning disabilities and behavioural disorders. Nirmala has touched the soul of our child and I am sure she can reach out to all those children as well. Nirmala's new venture will definitely be a helping hand to them. I wholeheartedly wish her the best in her new endeavour.

We noticed our child struggling with his studies about 6 years ago when he was in UKG. We discovered a learning disability centre at Sunrise Hospital in Kochi after hearing about it from his teacher. Ms Nirmala was the person in charge of LD training at the time. Following an evaluation, he was diagnosed with a severe case of learning disability. Our child then began his training with Nirmala. He couldn't even read a three-letter word when he first started his training. He faced all of the challenges that come with being a learning disabled child. Fortunately, in just two months there was a noticeable difference in his academics. The training went on for three years since then. Today, he is in 6th grade and is one of the top-performing students in his class now. It is only because of Nirmala's training that he could change so much. Those three years completely transformed his life. Her training techniques have significantly influenced him in his studies. We will be eternally grateful to Nirmala for this. Anjani, my daughter, had dyslexia and dyscalculia. Due to this, it was very challenging for her to read and solve math problems. During that course of time I contacted many special educators regarding the education challenges she was facing but we never really got any result. Then I came across Nirmala ma’am and she became our problem solver. Within 6 months we could see the difference. Anjani could now read a whole paragraph when in the past she couldn’t even read words. She could solve addition, subtraction and even multiplication while in past it was very hard for her. I am really very happy that I came across her and I can’t thank her enough.
